Rockhurst's Lantz Named CSC Academic All-America Member of the Year, Maryville Also Represented



AUSTIN, Texas – Two Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) women's soccer players were named Wednesday to the 2024 CSC Academic All-America® Division II Women's Soccer Teams, including Rockhurst University’s Anna Lantz who was named CSC Academic All-America Team Member of the Year, as selected by the College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.

Rockhurst junior forward Anna Lantz was named CSC Academic All-America Team Member of the Year, and earned a spot on the First Team, holding a perfect 4.0 GPA in her major of Molecular Biology. Lantz was also named to the Third Team in 2023. Lantz continues to add to her postseason accolades after claiming Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors in the GLVC, All-GLVC First Team honors, as well as All-Region recognition from D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches.
 
Maryville University senior defender Lotte Brands was named to the Second Team as she currently holds a 3.79 GPA in Exercise Science. Brands was also recognized as the GLVC Defensive Player of the Year and named to the All-GLVC First Team.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
