Drury, UIndy Awarded GLVC Swim & Dive Weekly Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – Drury senior Maria Fe Munoz and Indianapolis senior Jeremias Pock have been named the Athletic Solutions/Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women’s and men’s swimming and diving, respectively, it was announced by the league office Wednesday. 

WOMEN’S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Maria Fe Munoz, Drury

Major: Management and Marketing

Team Results: 4th/5 Teams (210 points) at SMU Classic (10/10-11)
  • Competed against four Division I schools, including Auburn and LSU
  • Took third in 400 IM (4:22.25) and fifth in 100 Fly (55.37) and 200 Fly (2:01.53)
  • Added seventh-place finish for 200 Breast (2:20.72)
  • Earns first career Athlete of the Week Award
  • Last Panthers’ Athlete of the Week: Mellie Wijk (1/29/25)

  • Faced top global talent at World Aquatics Swimming World Cup
  • Best placement was fourth in 100 Breast with time of 57.36
  • Made finals in two other events: 200 Breast (5th, 2:05.02) and 200 IM (7th, 1:55.57)
  • Added 12th-place finish in 100 IM (53.11)
  • All four times marked personal bests
  • Earns sixth career Athlete of the Week Award (10/7/25, 1/15/25, 12/12/24, 10/30/24, 10/16/24)
