INDIANAPOLIS – Maryville was voted in the preseason coaches' poll as the choice to win the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) STUNT championship, the league office announced on Friday.
The preseason poll is determined by the league's head coaches, who, per GLVC Bylaws, are not permitted to vote for their own team.
No. 1 Maryville
- Received four first-place votes and 46 total points
- Qualified for the National STUNT Championships in 2025
- Coached by Kara Krawiecki, who enters her eighth year at the helm with a 42-26 overall record
- Return Second Team National All-Tournament selection Peyton Nembhard
No. 2 Trevecca Nazarene
- Received four first-place vote and 40 total points
- Qualified for the National STUNT Championships in 2025
- Coached by Kelly Quigley, who enters her third season with a 46-15 record
- Has a record of 5-1 against GLVC competition
- Return Mid America West All-Conference honoree Erica DeLaughter
No. 3 Purdue Northwest
- Received 30 total points
- Coached by Madesyn Samples, who enters her second season having an 8-10 record
- Has a record of 5-1 against GLVC competition
No. 4 Ferris State
- Received 28 total points
- Coached by Perrmella Harris who enters her first season
- 2025-26 will be the first season of competition
Rounding out the poll respectively in fifth through eighth was Drury (26 points), Lewis (26), Quincy (20), Southwest Baptist (8)
