INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis senior quarterback Gavin Sukup and the Missouri S&T duo of sophomore cornerback Max Barnes and junior wide receiver Tyler Gioia have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gavin Sukup, #10 Indianapolis

Team Result: 66-21 W at Southwest Baptist (11/8)
- Completed 27 passes on 31 attempts (87%) for 419 yards and six touchdowns
- Carried the ball three times for 11 yards and one touchdown
- Became first Greyhound to account for seven touchdowns in a single game, as well as the first to record two games with six passing TDs in the same season
- Broke both the UIndy single-season passing touchdowns record and career passing TD mark
- Reached 8,000 career passing yards, the third player in program history to hit that milestone
- Helped UIndy increase points per game in conference games to 53.3
- Earns eighth career Offensive Player of the Week Award (10/6/25, 10/28/24, 9/23/24, 9/16/24, 11/13/23, 10/2/23, 9/4/23)

- Blocked one punt and recovered one punt in the endzone for a touchdown
- Contributed to three blocked punts on the day
- S&T became sixth team in Division II history and first in the GLVC annals to return two blocked punts for touchdowns in a single game
