UIndy, Truman Football Earn Bids to Super Region Three

INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) had Indianapolis and Truman State earn bids in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
 
Indianapolis earned the No. 3 seed and will host the Bulldogs. The Greyhounds most recently won their fourth-straight regular season title and their eleventh of the last 12. Indianapolis currently sits at 10-1 and are 8-0 in the conference.
 
Truman State, will travel to Indianapolis to face the Greyhounds. The inclusion in the bracket, marks the first time since 1994 that the Bulldogs will compete in an NCAA postseason contest. The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a record of 8-3 and a conference record of 7-1 with the only loss coming to Indianapolis.

The two squads met on September 27th in Kirksville where Indianapolis won 30-20.

Earning the No. 1 seed in SR3 was GLIAC-champ Ferris State, which will welcome Northwood for a first-round clash. Furthermore, G-MAC co-champs Findlay and Ashland will also host first-round contests. The second-seeded Oilers will host Minnesota State while the No. 4-seeded Eagles will entertain NSIC-champion Minnesota Duluth.
