AUSTIN, Texas – Five Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Football Academic All-America® Teams on Tuesday.
Indianapolis and Missouri S&T ganrned First Team honorees in Greyhounds senior offensive lineman Ryne Buttz, who carried a 3.76 GPA in Exercise Science, and Miners defensive lineman Bentley Hart, who carried a 3.77 GPA in History.
Upper Iowa garnered two Second Team members, senior tight end Eddie Burgess, and graduate offensive lineman Connor Andresen. Burgess holds a 3.84 GPA in Elementary Education and Andresen held a 3.89 undergraduate and a 4.00 graduate GPA in Agricultural Business.
Quincy junior linebacker Brock Wiley rounded out the GLVC names mentioned with the Biological Science / Pre-Med major holding a perfect 4.00 GPA.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
