INDIANAPOLIS – William Jewell sophomore quarterback Charlie Loose and senior defensive end Du’Vaughn Williams, along with Southwest Baptist junior kicker Kaleb James, have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Helped Jewell earn fourth consecutive season-opening win

- Recorded 234 passing yards and three touchdowns en route to scoring 25 unanswered points to secure the win over Kentucky Wesleyan
- Completed 13 passes on 21 attempts (62%)
- Added 12 rushing yards on three carries
- Earns first career Offensive Player of the Week Award
