INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis graduate student Celina Schmidt and McKendree sophomore Vova Gavrysh have been named the Athletic Solutions/Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women’s and men’s swimming and diving, respectively, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Team Results: 5th/8 Teams at Miami (OH) Invitational (11/20-22)
- Finished first in 100 Breaststroke (1:00.88) and 200 Breast (2:12.90)
- Achieved NCAA A-cut status in both events
- Touched the wall fourth in 200 IM (2:00.78)
- Part of second-place 400 Medley Relay team, recording a 1:00.59 split
- Earns seventh career Athlete of the Week Award (10/7/25, 1/22/25, 9/16/24, 12/6/23, 11/21/23, 10/25/23)
