LEXINGTON, KY– Eight Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) volleyball standouts have been named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II All-Americans; it was announced Wednesday.
The Missouri-St. Louis duo of setter Caitlin Bishop and outside hitter Alayna Santel were named to the First Team. Indianapolis outside hitter Paige Parlanti was the only Second Team honoree for the GLVC, whilst Missouri-St. Louis’ libero Skylar Weaver was joined on the Third Team by Quincy’s Susanna Beretti.
The remaining league contingent was recognized as Honorable Mention All-Americans, including Quincy setter Elena Kasavica, and the Rockhurst duo of middle hitter Delaney Hope, and outside hitter Sarah Pyle.
