Drury's Daniels Named to CSC Academic All-America Third Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury Panthers' senior guard, Caitlynn Daniels was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American Third Team on April 16. To be eligible for this honor, you must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 GPA and play in at least 90% of the team's games.
 
Daniels is the first Lady Panther to earn the honor since Kaylee DaMitz-Holt was named to the second team in 2023.
 
Daniels' is a graduate student from Robins, Iowa, who has a 4.0 GPA in the Communications program. She received an undergraduate degree in Finance from Drury with a 4.0 GPA.
 
This season, she averaged 14.2 points, 6.4 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game. Her 6.4 assists was the fifth best in NCAA-II this season. Her 84.6 free throw percentage was second best at the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).
 
On January 11, Caitlynn Daniels registered the fourth triple-double in program history against Missouri S&T. She recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. The stat line was good enough for her to earn GLVC Player of the Week.
 
The Lady Panthers finished the season in the GLVC Semifinals with a 22-7 record and 17-3 in the GLVC.
