INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced on Monday the field for the seventh annual GLVC Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament, which will be hosted by Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo., from May 1-3, 2025.
Co-Regular Season Champions Maryville earned the No. 1 overall seed, while Co-Regular Season Champions Rockhurst University secured the second seed, Lewis University was tabbed as the 3-seed, and University of Indianapolis claimed the 4-seed.
The top-four teams based on Conference winning percentage received a berth in the single-elimination tournament.
Semifinal 1: #1 Maryville vs. #4 Indianapolis | Thursday, May 1, 12 PM CT
- Maryville went 10-4 overall and 4-1 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- The 11th-ranked Saints earned a share of the GLVC Regular Season title and won the head-to-head tiebreaker for the top seed in a 17-8 win over Rockhurst at home on April 19.
- Maryville is making its sixth GLVC postseason appearance in seven years.
- UIndy went 7-7 overall and 3-2 in GLVC action during the regular season, settling for the fourth seed after losing a head-to-head tiebreaker to Lewis after a 9-5 loss in Romeoville on April 12.
- The Greyhounds will be making their seventh appearance in the GLVC postseason.
- The two teams met in Indianapolis on April 26, with UIndy taking a 13-12 victory.
Semifinal 2: #2 Rockhurst vs. #3 Lewis | Thursday, May 1, 3 PM CT
- Rockhurst went 8-5 overall and 4-1 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- The Co-Regular Season champion Hawks are making their sixth-straight appearance in the GLVC postseason and earned the 2-seed after losing a head-to-head tiebreaker to Maryville with a 17-8 road loss on April 19.
- Lewis went 11-4 overall and 3-2 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- The Flyers won the head-to-head tiebreaker against UIndy with a 9-5 home win on April 12 over the Greyhounds.
- This is Lewis' fourth consecutive trip to the Conference Championship.
- The two teams met in Kansas City on April 26, with Rockhurst claiming an 8-7 win.
The Championship match will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 12 PM.
