GLVC Baseball Tallies 37 CSC Academic All-District® Honorees

INDIANAPOLIS – Thirty-seven Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) baseball players have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. It was announced by the organization.
 
Drury, Indianapolis, Missouri S&T, Missouri-St. Louis paced the GLVC with five honorees, while Rockhurst and Truman State earned four spots on the team. Illinois Springfield, Lewis, and William Jewell each had three honorees, and two winners were selected from Maryville.

The complete list of honorees can be found at the link above. All eligible nominees earn the honor with a minimum of a 3.50 undergraduate or graduate GPA required, while the maximum number of submissions permitted by a school in the sport is five.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with seven student-athletes from the GLVC making the cut and advancing to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 1.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
