Trio of GLVC Tennis Players Garner CSC Academic All-America Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – Three Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) tennis players were recognized as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Americans, the organization announced on June 4.

For the women, Rockhurst sophomore Ella Coleman landed on the First Team, while Drury senior Ewa Samberger earned a spot on the Third Team. Coleman, an exercise science major, holds a 3.77 GPA along with earning GLVC Player of the Year and ITA All-America honors. Samberger majors in cyber-risk management with a 3.81 GPA and claimed All-GLVC status for her performance this season.

On the men's side, Drury senior Yaroslav Sharyy was the lone league representative after being tabbed to the Second Team. Carrying a 3.91 GPA in finance, Sharyy was named GLVC Player of the Year and ITA Midwest Region Senior Player of the Year this year, as well.
