S&T's Young on Bevo Francis Watch List for Second Consecutive Year

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T forward Andrew Young has been named to the Bevo Francis Award watch list. He is one of 100 players on the current list as voted on by Small College Basketball. The list highlights many of the nation's top student-athletes competing across NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA programs.

Young has distinguished himself bu leading the 12th-ranked Miners in both scoring and blocks this year. His 16 points per game is the 12th-most in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while his 1.1 blocks per game ranks 4th. He is also second in rebounds for S&T, averaging 6.4 per game.

Young is the only honoree from a Great Lakes Valley Conference institution. He is joined by three other student-athletes from Midwest region schools: Ashland's Maceo Williams, Michigan Tech's Marcus Tomashek, and Northern Michigan's Dylan Kuehl.
