INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) released Saturday night the bracket for the 2026 GLVC Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament. Regular Season Champion Missouri-St. Louis earned the No. 1 overall seed, while Maryville claimed the second seed, Drury was tabbed as the 3-seed, and McKendree claimed the 4-seed. The Tournament is being held in St. Louis Mo., at Mark Twain Building from Thursday, Mar. 5 through Sunday, Mar. 8.
Lewis and Truman earned seeds 5-6, while Quincy and Upper Iowa filled spots No. 7 and 8. The eight-team tournament is seeded 1-8 based on the GLVC Point Rating System (PRS) rankings.
Quarterfinal 1: #1 Missouri-St. Louis vs. #8 Upper Iowa | Thursday, Mar. 5, 12 PM CT
- UMSL went 22-4 overall and 18-2 in GLVC action with a 4.63 PRS during the regular season.
- Upper Iowa went 14-14 overall and 10-10 in GLVC action with a 3.20 PRS during the regular season.
- The Tritons swept the Peacocks this season with a 72-50 home win on Jan. 4., and a 72-60 win in Fayette on Feb. 12.
- UMSL is making its 21st appearance in the GLVC postseason.
- Upper Iowa is making its third-straight appearance in the GLVC postseason.
Quarterfinal 2: #2 Maryville vs. #7 Quincy | Thursday, Mar. 5, 2:15 PM CT
- Maryville went 22-6 overall and 16-4 in GLVC action with a 4.33 PRS during the regular season.
- Quincy went 15-12 overall and 12-8 in GLVC action with a 3.35 PRS during the regular season.
- The Saints beat the Hawks, 85-60, at home in their only contest this season on Feb. 19.
- Maryville is making its 13th appearance in the GLVC postseason and claimed a Conference title in 2012 during its first year of league membership.
- Quincy is making its 22nd appearance in the GLVC postseason and is the reigning GLVC Champions.
Quarterfinal 3: #4 McKendree vs. #5 Lewis | Friday, Mar. 6, 12 PM CT
- McKendree went 18-8 overall and 15-5 in GLVC action with a 3.90 PRS during the regular season.
- Lewis went 17-11 overall and 13-7 in GLVC action with a 3.78 PRS during the regular season.
- The Bearcats split the matchups against the Flyers with a loss on Jan. 1 (80-72) at home and a win on Feb. 14 (61-54) on the road.
- McKendree is making its seventh appearance in the GLVC postseason and first since 2024.
- Lewis is making its league-best 40th appearance in the GLVC postseason and 18th in a row with six Conference titles to its name.
Quarterfinal 4: #3 Drury vs. #6 Truman State | Friday, Mar. 6, 2:15 PM CT
- Drury went 20-7 overall and 17-3 in GLVC action with a 4.23 PRS during the regular season.
- Truman went 17-11 overall and 14-6 in GLVC action with a 3.55 PRS during the regular season.
- The Panthers went 2-0 against the Bulldogs this season, securing an 67-63 road win on Dec. 4 and 88-76 home victory on Feb. 7.
- Drury is making its 21st appearance in the GLVC postseason, having qualified every year since 2006 with a league-high 10 GLVC Championship Tournament titles.
- Truman is making its 12th appearance in the GLVC postseason and claimed a Conference title in 2014 during its first year of league membership.
The four quarterfinal winners will compete in the semifinals on Saturday, March 7, at 12 and 2:15 PM CT, while the semifinal victors will compete for the 2026 trophy on Sunday, Mar. 8 at 1:00 PM.
