INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) will be represented by two of the eight men’s basketball teams in this upcoming week's NCAA Division II Midwest Regional, it was announced Sunday night on the NCAA's Selection Show.
Rockhurst (23-6) secured an at-large bid as the No. 4 seed in the region. It is the third time the Hawks have made the Division II Tournament, and first since 2009. They will play No. 5 Northern Michigan (27-6) on March 14.
William Jewell (22-9) earned the leagues automatic qualification after claiming the GLVC title, enters the tournament as a No. 8 seed. This is the Cardinals second appearance in the NCAA Regionals and will be taking on the top seed and hosts Walsh (27-3) on March 14.
