GLVC Softball Championship Returns to
East Peoria's EastSide Centre
The 2021 Great Lakes Valley Conference Softball Championship will be held on May 6-9, 2021 at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Illinois. It will mark the 17th-straight GLVC Softball Championship that will be held at the EastSide Centre. The 2021 event will also mark the 37th annual GLVC Softball Championship.
Eight teams will vie for the 2021 GLVC crown and the opportunity to represent the Conference at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament.
No. 1 seed Missouri-St. Louis earned its fifth GLVC Championship in 2019, defeating defending champion and No. 2 seed Indianapolis, 1-0.
Lewis' 10 titles paces the Conference, followed by Missouri-St. Louis (5), Southern Indiana (4), and Indianapolis (2). Former GLVC members SIU Edwardsville (5), Kentucky Wesleyan (4), UW-Parkside (3), Northern Kentucky (2), and Ashland (1) have also claimed GLVC Softball Championships.
