INDIANAPOLIS – Lindenwood University graduate Sam Yaro and Lewis University redshirt-sophomore Keegan Zack have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the league office Thursday.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Team Result: No Team Scores at Washburn Rust Buster (1/15)
- Won 400-meter dash in NCAA provisional time of 47.91
- Ranks first in GLVC and second in NCAA D-II for that time
- Anchored 4x400 winning relay to meet record time of 3:19.41 (50.05 split)
- Placed third in 200-meter dash with personal-best time of 21.99
- Earns second career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Award (1/20/22, 2/5/21)
- Last Lions’ Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Award: Louis Moreau (2/11/21)

- Finished third in the long jump (6.83m; 22’5”)
