INDIANAPOLIS – Eight Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) football teams celebrated National Signing Day on Tuesday, combining to ink 322 student-athletes to join their programs in the fall of 2023.
Indianapolis (9-2, 6-0 GLVC) claimed its ninth GLVC Championship in 2022 before earning a bid to the NCAA Division II Playoffs. Additionally, Truman (State 9-2, 5-1) won the third annual America's Crossroads Bowl in Hobart, Ind., as the Bulldogs now have all three bowl game trophies after winning the inaugural game in 2019, the 2021 edition, and last year's game.
UIndy welcomed 53 newcomers to its roster, McKendree will see 60 head to Lebanon, Missouri S&T inked 27, Quincy signed 48, Southwest Baptist announced 50 to its roster, Truman has 25 newcomers, and William Jewell will have 27 student-athletes make a new home in Liberty. Additionally, new league member Upper Iowa will join the league for the fall season and brings in 32.
