GLVC Honors 2021-22 Academic All-Conference Honorees


INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Tuesday that 3,815 student-athletes have garnered Academic All-GLVC distinction for the 2021-22 season, it was announced on Tuesday.

The Academic All-GLVC honor is bestowed upon student-athletes who meet a cumulative GPA of 3.30 over two semesters of an academic year at the institution.

The list of honorees features students from the following sports: baseball (374), men’s basketball (88), women’s basketball (160), women’s bowling (50), men’s cross country (139), women’s cross country (135), football (269), men’s golf (110), women’s golf (100), men’s lacrosse (140), women’s lacrosse (137), men’s soccer (294), women’s soccer (341), softball (242), men’s swimming and diving (165), women’s swimming and diving (157), men’s tennis (89), women’s tennis (89), men’s track and field (210), women’s track and field (220), volleyball (200), and wrestling (106).

Not counting the 26 honorees from men’s lacrosse (17) and wrestling (nine) associate member Davenport University, the 10 selections from wrestling associate member Ouachita Baptist University, the 13 winners from women’s lacrosse associate member Missouri Western State University, as well as the 13 recipients from women’s bowling associate members University of Central Missouri (10) and Upper Iowa University (3), the 3,753 honorees from 15 full-time GLVC members averaged out to 250.2 selections per school. Over the course of the last six years, the per-school record averages have been 151 (2014-15), 160 (2015-16), 184 (2016-17), 190 (2017-18), 193 (2018-19), 247 (2019-20), and 257.5 (2020-21).
