ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Women's Basketball Championship Game is set as Drury University and Lewis University will meet Sunday, March 5. The Conference title will be decided on the campus of Lindenwood University at the Robert F. Hyland Arena, with tip-off set for 3:30 p.m. CT. Tomorrow’s matchup marks the fifth time that the two teams have squared off.

The Panthers scored early and often in this one, leading from start to finish. 12 players scored for Drury and their 105 points set the GLVC-record for total points in a tournament game. Kaylee DaMitz-Holt led the way with 25, while Alana Findley added 16 in the winning effort. Drury makes their 12th trip to the GLVC Championship game, looking for their tenth Conference title.

The final tilt of the evening provided plenty of entertainment, as the two teams were separated by just a few points for the majority of the game. Truman looked impressive in the first half, leading by as much as 12 at the seven-minute mark of the second quarter. After three lead changes in the third, the Flyers took and held the lead the rest of the way. The Bulldogs’ comeback attempt was thwarted by Lewis’ stellar free throw shooting in the final minute (8-of-10). The Flyers seek their first Conference crown since 2013 as they make their seventh title game appearance.
