INDIANAPOLIS – Four Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) baseball teams appear in this week's NCAA Division II Regional Rankings, it was announced Wednesday.
Indianapolis (32-14, 32-11 In-Region) is the top-ranked league team at No. 2, while Maryville (30-15, 30-15) follows close behind in third. No. 6 Drury (25-20, 24-19) and No. 8 Illinois Springfield (26-19, 24-19) make up the rest of the GLVC contingent in the region.
NCAA D-II sports with regional rankings will list schools as under consideration in alphabetical order for the first ranking of the season. The next two weeks will rank teams in order before the final ranking will be the team's earning a berth to the NCAA Midwest Regional.
