UIU, Drury Earn GLVC Baseball Weekly Awards

INDIANAPOLIS – Upper Iowa senior outfielder Jared Hoodjer and Drury freshman pitcher Anthony Vita have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions weekly award winners in baseball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

    • Improved season average to .375
  • Ripped three homers and two doubles for a 1.167 slugging percentage
  • Drove in 17 runs, scored 11 himself, and swiped one base
  • Highlighted by 3-for-3 performance in second game of series, contributing one double, one home run, three runs scored, and seven RBIs
  • Earns first career Player of the Week Award
