Maryville, Quincy Collect GLVC Baseball Weekly Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – Maryville junior center fielder Steven Schneider and Quincy freshman pitcher Rocco Conrad have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions weekly award winners in baseball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Helped Maryville put up 56 runs in four-game sweep over Lincoln
  • Batted .667 (8-for-12) and one walk and three hit-by-pitches, posting a .750 on-base percentage
  • Ripped two doubles and two homers for a 1.333 slugging percentage
  • Drove in 10 runs, scored 10 himself, and swiped two bases
  • Highlighted by 2-for-3 performance in second game of series, contributing one double, one home run, three runs scored, and three RBIs
  • Earns first career Player of the Week Award
