WACO, Texas – Four Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) football student-athletes were selected to the D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List, it was announced Wednesday.
Southwest Baptist kicker Logan Turner earned a first-team spot after leading DII in field goals last season and claiming GLVC Special Teams Player of the Year.
Upper Iowa tight end Eddie Burgess and McKendree wideout Yogi Flager, Jr. landed on the Second Team, while Indianapolis defensive back Michael Brown received "Squad" team recognition to round out Conference representation.
The D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with the input of numerous sitting head coaches as well as professional football scouting veteran Josh Buchanan. The players listed in the release represent the official watch list for the D2Football.com 2024 Elite 100 Team, which will be announced at the conclusion of the season.
