INDIANAPOLIS – Six Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) women's bowling teams have been recognized in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Preseason Polls, it was announced by the association Wednesday.
The reigning GLVC champions, Maryville, appeared as the 10th-ranked team in the All-Divisions Poll, while McKendree (#15) and Oklahoma Christian (#24) also landed in the top 25. Central Missouri, Lewis, and Newman received votes to appear just outside of the rankings.
In the DII/DIII poll, the Saints took the top spot, followed by the Bearcats and Eagles in the No. 3 and 5 spots, respectively. The Jennies checked in at No. 6 and the Jets rounded out Conference representation at No. 7.
