Drury Wins Third GLVC Women’s Soccer Title

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Fifth-seeded Drury hoisted its third Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Women's Soccer Championship trophy on Sunday, defeating second-seeded McKendree, 0-0 (3-2 on penalties), at Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex in St. Louis, Mo.
 
Drury secured its third Conference title, with the other championships coming in 2021 and 2007. This is the second season in a row that the fifth seed have won the championship.

With the win, Drury (10-2-8) earned the league's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament, making its second appearance in a row. The Panthers will find out their opponent on Monday night's NCAA Selection Show at 6:30 PM ET.

  • Fitzler made nine saves and saw 24 shots, while Baker saw 18 shots and saved six.
