INDIANAPOLIS – The 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men’s and Women's Soccer Teams have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. There were 63 women and 46 men from Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) teams named to the NCAA Division II list of honorees.
Representing the women's side were eleven GLVC schools, as Illinois Springfield, Indianapolis, Maryville, Missouri S&T, Missouri-St. Louis, Rockhurst, Truman State and Upper Iowa led the league with six honorees each. Drury, Quincy, and William Jewell followed with five representatives.
On the men's side, the student-athlete representatives came from eleven league teams as well. Indianapolis, Missouri S&T, Upper Iowa, and William Jewell led the way with six honorees each. Quincy and Rockhurst had five members, Illinois Springfield and Truman State each had four, Drury and Maryville garnered three, and Missouri-St. Louis rounded out the conference with two.
The complete list of teams can be found at the link above. All eligible nominees earn the honor with a minimum of a 3.50 undergraduate or graduate GPA required, while the maximum number of submissions permitted by a school in the sport is six per gender.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
