10 GLVC Schools Represented in DII Learfield Directors' Cup Fall Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) had ten member institutions ranked in the fall Division II Learfield Directors' Cup standings, as released on Dec. 23.

The league's ten representatives on the list was tied for the second-highest number with the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and Sunshine State Conference (SSC). The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) led all conferences with 11 schools tallying points in the fall season. Out of 23 DII leagues, the GLVC was one of just four conferences with five or more institutions in the top 55 for points: Indianapolis (24th), Lewis (40th), Maryville (t-46th), Rockhurst (t-46th), and Missouri-St. Louis (55th).

Five other GLVC schools made the cut, including Lincoln tying for 91st to crack the top 100. McKendree landed in a tie for 106th, while Drury, Quincy, and Truman State tied for 124th to round out the list.

The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.

Standings published midseason are unofficial. Official standings will be published upon the completion of the spring season. Complete standings and the scoring structure can be found on NACDA's website at www.directorscup.org.
