CSC Academic All-America Team Features Five GLVC Women's Swim & Dive Athletes

AUSTIN, Texas – Five Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division II Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-America® Teams, it was announced Tuesday.

Indianapolis led GLVC representation with three individuals making the list. SIsabella Revstedt (Business Administration major, 3.96/4.00 GPA) earned a first-team selection, with teammate Celina Schmidt (Business Administration, 3.82/3.83) who appeared on the second-team last year. Kirabo Namutebi (Sport Management, 3.90) was named to the third-team.

Drury's Mellie Wijk (Communications – Organizational Leadership, 3.82) was another first-team honoree with her teammate Claire Conover (Biology, 3.93) joining her on the first-team. Wijk earned her second straight first-team nod.

The CSC Academic All-America® separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure, to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 DII Academic All-America® teams program.
