One Record Falls on Day Three of the 2026 GLVC Swimming and Diving Championships

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – One record gets broken after the third day of the 2026 GLVC Swimming and Diving Championships at the Deaconess Aquatics Center in Evansville, Indiana.

On the women’s side, Drury (1009.5) stayed in front of Indianapolis (910) for the top spot. Missouri-St. Louis stays in third with 490 points while Lewis (382), and McKendree (345.5) round out the top five, respectively. William Jewell closely follows behind with 342 points while Rockhurst (329), Quincy (245), Truman State (218), and Southwest Baptist (133) round out sixth through tenth.

Indianapolis overtook Drury for the lead with the Greyhounds now at 909 points and the Panthers at 796. McKendree stood pat in third with 732.5 points with Missouri S&T (409) and Quincy (337) fighting for fourth. Missouri-St. Louis (305), Lewis (286.5), Rockhurst (277), and William Jewell (228) sit sixth through ninth with Truman State (129), and Southwest Baptist (112) taking tenth and 11th respectively.

Nine GLVC champions were crowned Thursday, with only one of those event winners setting a new league standard.
  • In the Men’s 1-Meter Diving, Indianapolis’ Donovan McMahon took home top spot with 518.85 points and making an NCAA A-Cut.
    • Indianapolis’ Adam Carr and Drury’s Carter Austin scored an A-Cut placing second and third respectively.
  • The Women’s 100 Butterfly was won by Indianapolis’ Caprice Schlueter
    • Schlueter’s time of 54.52 was enough for an NCAA B-Cut with Drury’s Yevheniia Zhukova, Missouri-St. Louis’ Audrey Lantz finishing second and third.
    • Five times in total made NCAA B-Cuts.
  • The Men’s 100 Butterfly saw Indianapolis’ Elias Noe (46.73) claim gold with McKendree’s Daniel de Oliveira and Drury’s Ivan Adamchuk claiming silver and bronze.
    • 13 swimmers earned B-Cuts.
  • Indianapolis’ Celina Schmidt won the Women’s 400 IM with a time of 4:26.50. Drury’s Maria Munoz and Gwen Bergum finished second and third in the race.
    • All three earned NCAA B-Cuts.
  • Jeremias Pock of Indianapolis won the Men’s 400 IM with a time of 3:43.80, just two hundredths off of the GLVC record. Pock was followed by Greyhound teammate Silas Buessing and Nico Basten for the podium spots.
    • Pock and Buessing earned A-Cuts with eight others earning B-Cuts
  • Missouri-St. Louis Justice Beard earned topped the Women’s 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:48.90. Drury’s Belen Morales and Nikol Maniko finished in second and third.
    • Eight individuals earned B-Cut times
  • Vova Gavrysh won the Men’s 200 Freestyle in an exact time of 1:34.91, the GLVC record that was set by Gavrysh last year.
    • Gavrysh’s time was good enough for an A-Cut with 12 swimmers earning B-Cuts
  • In the Women’s 400 Medley Relay, Indianapolis won the event with a time of 3:39.87. The team of Reinke, Schmidt, Schlueter, and Namutebi outswam the second and third place squads of Drury and Missouri-St. Louis.
    • The top two times posted were NCAA provisional marks
  • In the final event of the night, the Indianapolis Greyhounds Men’s 400 Medley Relay team of Jankauskas, Pock, Noe, and Anthony broke the GLVC record by swimming a time of 3:07.90. Drury and McKendree rounded out the podium places
    • The top three times earned NCAA provisional marks

All first- and second-place finishers are awarded first- and second-team All-GLVC honors.

Day four of the GLVC Championships begins Friday with preliminaries of the 500 Free, 100 back, 100 Breast, and 200 Fly, beginning at 10 AM CT. The women’s 1-meter Diving prelims are set to begin at 12:30 PM CT with finals kicking off at 5:30 PM.
