INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) will be represented by 29 student-athletes at the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 13-14 in Virginia Beach, Virginia at Virginia Beach Sports Center.
21 men and 8 women comprise the GLVC student-athletes who were among 540 total qualifiers announced on Wednesday by the NCAA. In all, 270 competitors qualified on both the men's and women's side. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event. The complete list of qualifiers is available at the NCAA link above, while heat sheets will be available at the same website by Monday, March 9.
For the men, Indianapolis and Missouri S&T led the way with five qualifiers each , including Josue Le Cadre, Yanis Le Mouillour, Alex Meyer, Lateef Mustafaa, and Felix Rivet for Indianapolis, and Andrew Bacon, Henry Born, Owen Fraser, Jack Janovick, and Otto Knittel for Missouri S&T. Lewis closely followed with four representatives: Abraham Christian, Neil Erasmus, Levi Graham, and Evan Horgan. Lincoln is taking three – Dimetri Browne, Malik Drummond, and Bradon Harris, while Southwest Baptist is taking two, Angel Dickerson and Marcus Jones. Maryville and Quincy are bringing one representative to nationals with Harry Mitchell from the Saints and Jack Thompson from the Hawks.
Indianapolis and Lincoln led all league members on the women's side with two participants each, including Francesca Maurino, and Vivian Osagie for Indianapolis, and Aaliyannah Anderson and Quana Walker for Lincoln. Four schools are sending one athlete each, Illinois Springfield (Maddie Miller-Ross), Lewis (Denise Hernandez), Maryville (Sarai Brown), and Southwest Baptist (Stephanique Dean).
