INDIANAPOLIS – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the 2025-26 Scholar All-America winners with three Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) teams making the top-25 list and 55 wrestlers being honored.
Indianapolis places at fourth in the NWCA Scholar All-America Team listing for NCAA Division II, posting a GPA of 3.517. Drury followed in 18th with a 3.303 GPA, while Maryville rounded out the trio in 21st with a 3.278.
Individually, McKendree topped the Conference and tied for second in DII with 15 wrestlers recognized, while Indianapolis had 14 honored. Upper Iowa had 11 individuals honored with Quincy earning six. Maryville had five honored with Drury rounding out the conference with four honorees..
In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and a 3.0 for those who were All-Americans at the 2026 Nationals. Wrestlers must have competed in four dates of competition.
