INDIANAPOLIS – 14 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) baseball players appeared on the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Midwest Region teams.
Indianapolis designated hitter and GLVC Player of the Year Austin Bode was named Player of the Year and First Team designated hitter. Joining Bode on the First Team was Missouri-St. Louis first base Mitch Bonczkowski, Quincy second base Isaiah Fudge, Illinois Springfield outfielder Corey Boyette, Drury outfielder Connor Bain, Missouri-St. Louis starting pitcher Eli Cartwright, and Rockhurst utility (pitcher) Michael Laudando.
Seven Conference ballplayers appeared on the Second Team led by the Illinois Springfield duo of outfielder Tommy Atkinson and designated hitter Kaden Griffitts. Indianapolis catcher Chase Mason, Drury third base Jackson Crider, Rockhurst outfielder Colton Wemhoff, Missouri S&T starting pitcher Dylan Bates, and Rockhurst starting pitcher Keller Costello round out the leagues honorees
All 16 first-team All-Region selections will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America Consideration. The All-America teams are scheduled to be released on Wednesday, May 27. The complete D2CCA All-Midwest Region teams can be found on the following page.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
