59 GLVC Softball Student-Athletes Secure Spot on CSC Academic All-District® Team

INDIANAPOLIS – 59 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) softball players have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. It was announced by the organization Wednesday.
 
Drury, Illinois Springfield, Indianapolis, Lewis, Missouri S&T, Missouri-St. Louis, Quincy, Rockhurst, Truman State, Upper Iowa, and William Jewell paced the GLVC with five honorees apiece, while McKendree earned four spots on the team.

The complete list of honorees can be found at the link above. All eligible nominees earn the honor with a minimum of a 3.50 undergraduate or graduate GPA required, while the maximum number of submissions permitted by a school in the sport is five.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 16.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
