INDIANAPOLIS – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) released its All-America softball selections on Wednesday, with the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) having five student-athletes recognized.
Indianapolis pitcher and GLVC Pitcher of the Year Caitlin Bunte, and McKendree shortstop and GLVC Player of the Year Lauren Harris were named to the First Team. Both were named the Midwest Region Player and Pitcher of the Year respectively last week.
On the Second Team was Indianapolis outfielder Brooklyn Willis with Southwest Baptist outfielder Keeley Elsea and William Jewell outfielder Mikayla Chairez being named to the Third Team.
Sports Information Directors (SID) from across the country vote to form the three All-America teams.
