William Jewell to Host 2015 GLVC Outdoor Track & Field Championship
The 2015 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be take place at Greene Stadium on the campus of William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., May 1-2. The 2015 event will mark the 19th year for the GLVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
For the first time ever, the GLVC Championships will be streamed live on the GLVC Sports Network. Broadcast details will be announced days prior to the meet and all coverage can be found on the official GLVCSN website, GLVCsports.com/watch.
Last season, Missouri S&T earned it second men's league championship and first since 2009 when the Miners totaled a winning score of 172 points at Lewis University. On the women's side, the host Flyers earned their sixth league title, scoring 197 points overall to post a 41-point victory over runner-up Indianapolis (156).
The UIndy men have won a GLVC-record six outdoor titles, including four of the last five, while the UIndy women have won five of the last six championships at the annual event, which extends their conference-best total to seven since the GLVC began sponsoring the sport in 1996.
