The semifinals and finals of match play will take place on Tuesday, April 20.
The GLVC Men's Golf Championships will once again be streamed live and free on all GLVC Sports Network platforms, including GLVCSN.com, iOS/Android mobile apps, and Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV OTT apps. A complete schedule will be announced during championship week.
Indianapolis has captured 16 GLVC Championships, followed by Bellarmine, Lewis and Northern Kentucky with six each. Missouri-St. Louis earned both of its GLVC titles over the past four seasons. Last year's champion Maryville, Southern Indiana, along with former league members UW-Parkside and Ashland have all claimed the GLVC Championship once.
The top-five finishers at the GLVC Men's Golf Championship are named All-GLVC. The remaining golf awards, including All-Conference positions Nos. 6-10, as well as GLVC Player, Freshman, and Coach of the Year, are named by a vote of the coaches at the conclusion of the spring season.
In a rematch of the 2018 finals between UIndy and Maryville, the fourth-seeded Saints won the 2019 title after a tiebreaker victory over the second-seeded Greyhounds thanks to a lower five-man total 361-265 after a 2.5-2.5 score. Maryville advanced to the finals after winning another tiebreaker against top-seeded Missouri-St. Louis, 358-363. UIndy advanced to the finals thanks to a 3-2 win over third-seeded Bellarmine.
Bellarmine senior James Inman won the individual medal after shooting par on the 18th hole for the playoff win over UIndy senior Graham McAree. Both players fired a 54-hole, 7-under-par 209, which tied the GLVC Championship record. Inman shot rounds of 69-69-71, while McAree carded round sof 73-68-68. The other three finishing in the top five tied for third place with 212 totals, including Drury teammates Clayton Larsen (71-70-71) and Craig Stefureak (73-72-67), as well as Missouri-St. Louis' Reilly Ahearn (73-69-70).
