INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis senior Alejandro Steinwascher and University of Illinois Springfield junior Pijus Petkevicius earned Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Players of the Week honors for the sport of men’s soccer, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Tallied six points on two goals and two assists in two league wins over the weekend
- Scored twice and added a helper in the team’s 5-2 win at McKendree on Sunday
- Dished out an assist, while recording a team-high five shots, against USI on Friday
- Earns first career Offensive Player of the Week award (9/20/21)
