INDIANAPOLIS – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released its All-American Scholars Tuesday afternoon with six Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) programs represented. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, as the minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Rockhurst and Missouri-St. Louis each paced the Conference with seven players selected by the WGCA. Rockhurst’s Madeline Gentry, Caroline Setter, Emma Hughes, Sarah Biscan, Jayden Berrey, Greta Hinds, and Emma Mullendore received All-America honors for the Hawks. The seven Tritons to be selected from UMSL were Victoria Klausner, Manon Labuer, Linn Thornqvist, Juliette Lecomte, Momo Kikuchi, Jenna Teeter, and Tove Brunell.
Lindenwood had six honorees in Rebecca Oertel, Lillian Schlemmer, Addasyn Zeller, Alexis Montgomery, and Kassidy Hull. The GLVC Champion UIndy Greyhounds had five selections in Elyse Stasil, Katelyn Skinner, Ellen Caton, Catharina Graf, and Anci Dy. Brittany King, Therese Wallander, Maggie King, and Chloe Davidson were the four Maryville players to be named All-Americans. A pair of teammates from William Jewell rounded out the list of those from the Conference to be recognized in Madelyn Luttjohann and Frida Hammarlund.
