INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has announced the field of 48 teams and 24 student-athletes competing as individuals that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2023 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships, which includes three Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) teams and four individuals. Regional play will be conducted May 8-10, with the East Regional taking place at the Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, Illinois.
GLVC Champion Illinois Springfield is the No. 8 seed, while Indianapolis is seeded second, and Missouri-St. Louis appears as the No. 4 seed.
This will be the Prairie Stars' fourth appearance in the NCAA Regional and their first since 2018. UIndy heads to the NCAA Tournament for the 16th consecutive time, while UMSL will make its 13th-straight appearance.
