INDIANAPOLIS – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Academic All-District® At-Large teams which recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) had 38 female and 43 male student-athletes included on the lists, as voted by members of CSC.
On the women’s side Indianapolis, Lewis, Quincy, Rockhurst, and William Jewell led the way with six honorees, respectively. Maryville landed four student-athletes on the list. Rounding out the league representation with a pair of selections was Truman State, and Drury, and Missouri St. Louis had one.
For the men, Indianapolis, Maryville, Missouri S&T, Quincy, and Rockhurst led all GLVC institutions with six student-athletes making the cut. Followed by Lewis and William Jewell with four recognizees apiece, while Drury added three, and UMSL had two selections to round out the list.
