ST. Louis, MO. – Two Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) men's basketball teams advanced to the semifinal round of the 2026 GLVC Men's Basketball Championship Tournament in St. Louis, Missouri, on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis at the Mark Twain Building.Drury and William Jewell await the winners of the last two quarterfinal games tomorrow, March 6th, to determine the matchups heading to the title game on Sunday, March 8th.

GLVCsports.com/tickets, and those who can't attend can watch on all GLVCSN platforms for $15 per individual game or $40 for the full tournament.

- DU shot the lights out in the first half, going 22-35 (62.88%) from the field, ending with a 54% shooting percentage (34-63).
- The Panthers saw six players score double digits; leading the way was Zach Howell (25), Colin Hardrick (16), KeShaun Thomas (16), and Keion Epps (16).
- Howell and Hardrick would both grab nine rebounds which led the team.
- Epps added three steals.
- DU took advantage of the turnover game besting the Hawks 7-to-10.
- RU went 36-42 from the line to stay in the contest.
- Drenin Dinkins led the Hawks with a game-high 30 points and went a perfect 13-13 from the free throw line.
- GLVC Player of the Year Jaylen Wesley added 28 points and nine rebounds and six assists.
- This is the first time a team has scored 100 or more points since the 2016 tournament.
- This is the fourth time a number one seed has fallen before the semifinals and first since 2022.
- This is DU’s 12th quarterfinal victory and first since 2021.

- WJC capitalized off of turnovers, scoring 27 points from 18 UIU mishandles.
- WJC showcased three players reach double digits: Justice Sutton (25), Bradley Lightbourne (21), and Cooper Francis (13)
- Sutton and Lightbourne both shot 52.9% (9-of-17) from the field
- UIU won the battle on the offensive glass, not only grabbing two more offensive rebounds but also outscoring the Cardinals 6-5 in second chance points.
- UIU had four scorers go into double figures with Tate Petersen (16), Trey Lewis (13), Eric Kenesie (13) and Kyle Hrncir (12)
- Lewis added four steals with Hrncir snatching three of his own.
- This is WJC’s third GLVC quarterfinal win.
