ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Top-seeded Maryville and third-seeded Missouri S&T advanced to the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men’s Volleyball Tournament championship game after semifinal wins at Moloney Arena on the campus of Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo.
The two teams met during the regular season on April 15 and 18 with Missouri S&T winning the match on the 15th, 3-0 and Maryville winning on the 18th, 3-2.
The Saints and Miners will face off in the championship game at 12:30 PM Central Time. The match will also be streamed live and behind a paywall on the GLVC Sports Network (GLVCSN) with more information available on the Championship Central homepage at

- MU used a 4-0 run in the middle of set one to propel to a 25-20 set victory.
- RVU kept it closer in set two, with MU needing to go on a 7-2 run to close out the set.
- MU closed out the sweep by collecting 19 kills.
- MU hit .317 for the match, with Makai Scott and Aiden Whitemountain getting 15 and 10 kills respectively.
- Jake Usher had 42 assists whilst Scott added 12 digs.
- RVU's Mark Zmojdzin had 16 kills with Martino Bertagnoli adding 31 assists and Simone Mondin having nine digs.
