ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Third-seeded Missouri S&T earned the first-ever Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men's Volleyball Championship trophy on Sunday, defeating top-seeded Maryville, 3-0, at Moloney Arena on the campus of Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo.
The Miners claimed the first GLVC Men’s Volleyball Championship in the first year of the sport being sponsored by the GLVC.

- S&T hit an astounding .389 in set one with 19 kills.
- S&T won the second set by hitting .400 and having four blocks, along with forcing MU to a .118 hitting percentage.
- S&T finished the sweep by hitting a tournament set high of .469 and getting 16 kills.
- The Miners were led by Aaron Sallade who had 16 kills, Grant Edmonds who had 42 assists, Bartosz Chmielewski who had 15 digs, and the GLVC Player of the Year Nate Meyer who added 11 kills, five digs, and two service aces.
- MU had Makai Scott get 13 kills, while Jake Usher had 34 assists, and AJ Robateau hit .600.
