INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has announced the field of 72 teams and 24 student-athletes competing as individuals that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships, which includes five Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) teams and three individuals. Regional play will be conducted May 4-6, with the East Regional taking place at the Findlay Country Club, in Findlay, Ohio.
Indianapolis is the No. 3 seed, while GLVC Champion Missouri-St. Louis is seeded fourth. Lewis, McKendree and Maryville are slotted in next to each other at No. 9, 10 and 11, making up the conference representation. Illinois Springfield’s Elaine Grant, Drury’s Grace Stafford and Quincy’s Lily Vardaman earned the second, fourth and sixth spots respectively for individual qualifiers.
UIndy heads to the NCAA Tournament for the 19th consecutive time, while UMSL will make its 15th-straight appearance. This will be the Flyers’ fourth trip to the NCAA Regional, for the Bearcats' this will be their fourth appearance in the NCAA Regional, Maryville will be making their second appearance. Grant will be making her fourth appearance, with Stafford making her second, and Vardaman her first.
The championships will be held May 12-16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 98.
