GLVC Lands 76 Track & Field/Cross Country Student-Athletes on CSC Academic All-District® Teams

AUSTIN, Texas – Seventy-six Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) cross country/track & field student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® honors, the organization announced on June 23. 40 men and 36 women from the league were recognized for their athletic and academic work.

On the men's side, Drury, Missouri S&T, Rockhurst, and Truman State topped the Conference with six student-athletes apiece earning recognition. Indianapolis followed closely with five selections, while Illinois Springfield added three representatives. Lewis, Maryville, and Quincy each placed two student-athletes on the team, and Missouri-St. Louis and William Jewell rounded out the list with one recipient each.

For the women, UIndy, Maryville, Rockhurst, and Truman shared the Conference lead with six selections each. Drury followed with four representatives, while Lewis landed three student-athletes on the team. UIS and Upper Iowa each added two recipients, with Quincy rounding out the field with one selection.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 14 (men) and July 15 (women).

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
