INDIANAPOLIS – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025-26 Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America® Teams on Tuesday, with 14 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) student-athletes earning recognition. Missouri S&T's Owen Fraser headlined the league's selections, earning CSC Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year honors for Division II men's track & field/cross country.
Fraser, a senior with a perfect 4.00 GPA in mechanical engineering, secured First Team Academic All-America® recognition for the second consecutive season. He is now a three-time Academic All-America® selection after earning Second Team honors in 2023-24, as well.
The GLVC placed eight student-athletes on the men's teams, with seven earning First Team honors. Joining Fraser on the First Team were S&T junior Henry Born (4.00 GPA, mining engineering) and graduate student Otto Knittel (4.00, engineering management), Drury senior Tyler Harris (4.00, architecture), and three Indianapolis representatives: graduate student Yanis Le Mouillour (3.84/3.50, global supply chain management), junior Alex Meyer (3.75, exercise science), and graduate student Felix Rivet (3.57/3.86, exercise science). Meyer earned his second career Academic All-America® honor after receiving Second Team recognition a year ago.
Lewis senior Abraham Christian rounded out the men's honorees with Third Team distinction, posting a 3.72 GPA while majoring in aviation flight technology.
On the women's side, six student-athletes from the league earned spots on the list. Lewis senior Denise Hernandez (3.57, organizational communication), S&T sophomore Sydney Morris (4.00, architectural engineering), and Indianapolis sophomore Vivian Osagie (3.92, information systems & applied data analytics) each garnered Second Team Academic All-America® honors.
Third Team recognition went to Maryville senior Sarai Brown (3.82, sports business management), UIndy graduate student Francesca Maurino (3.76/4.00, business administration), and Illinois Springfield senior Madelyn Miller-Ross (3.79, elementary education).
The Academic All-America® program recognizes student-athletes for their combined achievements in competition and the classroom. To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
