128 GLVC Student-Athletes Earn Spots on CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Teams

INDIANAPOLIS – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Academic All-District® At-Large teams on June 16, which highlight the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) had 65 female and 63 male student-athletes included on the lists, as voted by members of CSC.

For the women, Indianapolis, Lewis, Maryville, Quincy, Rockhurst, and William Jewell led all GLVC institutions with six student-athletes apiece earning recognition. Illinois Springfield followed with four selections, while Truman State and Upper Iowa each placed three student-athletes on the team. Drury and UMSL rounded out the full-time membership with one representative each. Among the Conference's associate members, Central Missouri, Newman, and Oklahoma Christian each had three bowling recipients, while Missouri Western State added three lacrosse selections. Grand Valley State and Northern Michigan each placed two wrestling student-athletes on the list.

On the men's side, Indianapolis, Lewis, Maryville, Missouri S&T, Quincy, Rockhurst, and William Jewell also produced six selections apiece. Drury and UMSL followed with five representatives each, while Upper Iowa added four selections and Illinois Springfield placed three student-athletes on the team. For the league's associate members, Roosevelt had three volleyball recipients, while Thomas More added one volleyball selection.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 14 (men) and July 15 (women).

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
