WILLIAMSVILLE, Ill. – Top-seeded Missouri-St. Louis and third-seeded Quincy advanced to the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Volleyball Tournament championship game after semifinal wins at the Williamsville High School Fieldhouse in Williamsville, Ill.
According to available league records, this is the fourth time these seeds have met in the title game in the non-divisional format. The latest occurrence came in 2019, when No. 1 Rockhurst defeated No. 3 Missouri-St. Louis, 3-2.
The two teams met during the regular season on Oct. 4, with Missouri-St. Louis winning 3-2 in St. Louis.

#1 Missouri-St. Louis 3, #4 Indianapolis 1 (25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21)

- UMSL stayed consistent through the first two sets, spitting with UINDY with the Tritons hitting .263 and. 216.
- UINDY's second set was impressive with the Greyhounds only making two errors and hitting .333.
- UMSL got even better as the game went on, winning the final two sets, hitting .308 and .386 to clinch a spot in the championship.
- UMSL had four players with double-digits kills, led by Alayna Santel's 19.
- GLVC Player of the Year Caitlin Bishop had 55 assists, while GLVC Libero of the Year Skylar Weaver had 15 digs.
- UINDY's GLVC Freshman of the Year Carly Fonda had 48 assists with Paige Parlanti adding 19 kills and 15 digs.
- UMSL will make its fourth appearance in the GLVC championship game and first since 2023, as it seeks its first Conference title.

- RU came out hot in the first set, tallying 16 kills and a .359 hitting percentage.
- QU snagged the second set thanks to 18 kills and a .289 hitting percentage.
- RU nabbed the third set thanks to an 8-4 run to end the set.
- QU gained momentum in the fourth set, holding RU to a .096 hitting percentage and then putting down the hammer in the fifth set by limited RU to a 0.0 hitting percentage.
- QU's Susanna Beretti had 23 kills and 30 digs with Janelle Pye-Blacknard also accruing a double-double with 13 kills and 16 digs.
- RU's Delaney Hope led the way for the Hawks with 16 kills, while Katie Vargo added 27 digs.
- QU will make its second appearance in the GLVC title match and first since 1998, as it seeks its maiden league crown.
